Dental Care Assistance For Low-Income Seniors
Meds – Prescription Drugs Assistance For Low-Income Seniors
Connected For Success (via Rogers) For Cheaper Internet Plans – For both internet and cable packages at a discount. There are some nuances but worth applying for as it does provide value – had this package for my parents for just over a year before being forced to switch out due to the building my parents lived in, but definitely saved them while using this program (in case you’re wondering, it just happened to be the condo my parents live in had a building-wide contract with Rogers and it was due to a technical reason we were forced to upgrade). Would still recommend this Rogers plan for low-income seniors.
Canadian Government Official Site For Connecting Families – This shows all participating vendors that provide internet – cell phone – cable packages, however, Rogers (the link above) is the easier one to apply for. The rest of the vendors on this list participate in the program but you need to be chosen (by the Government) as a low-income seniors/families to qualify. For the Rogers one, you can apply yourself and it’s pretty easy.
